Terms of Use

Unsaid · Last updated 16 August 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Unsaid ("we", "us") for use of the Unsaid app. By downloading or using the app, you accept them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

1. What Unsaid is

Unsaid is a speaking-practice app. It records your voice, measures things like filler words and speaking pace, and gives you AI-generated coaching feedback and practice conversations.

Unsaid is not therapy, medical care, or professional advice. It is a practice tool for everyday speaking. It does not diagnose or treat speech disorders, social anxiety, or any medical or psychological condition. If you have a stammer, a voice disorder, or anxiety that affects your daily life, please speak to a qualified speech-language pathologist or clinician. Do not use Unsaid as a substitute for professional care.

2. Subscriptions and payment

Unsaid is a paid app sold through the Apple App Store. We offer a yearly plan (with a free trial), a monthly plan, and a weekly plan. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency before you buy, and vary by country.

3. Your content

Your recordings and transcripts are yours. You keep all rights to them. You grant us only the limited permission needed to run the service — to transcribe your audio, generate feedback, and show it back to you, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not use your voice or transcripts to train AI models.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

5. AI-generated feedback

Coaching, scores, and practice conversations are produced in part by automated systems. They can be wrong, inconsistent, or occasionally miss context. Treat them as practice feedback, not fact. Some measurements (like filler counts) depend on speech recognition, which is imperfect and varies with accent, microphone quality, and background noise.

6. Availability

We aim to keep Unsaid running, but we don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Features may change, and we may modify or discontinue parts of the service. Some features depend on third-party providers and an internet connection.

7. Disclaimers and liability

The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We make no promise of any specific outcome or improvement in your speaking.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.

If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA or UK, you keep all mandatory statutory rights, and nothing here reduces them.

8. Ending it

You can stop using Unsaid at any time by cancelling your subscription and deleting the app. We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. If you are a consumer, you may also bring proceedings in the country where you live, and you keep the protection of its mandatory consumer law.

10. Apple

These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, and has no obligation to provide support for it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we'll notify you in the app. Continuing to use Unsaid after a change means you accept the new terms.
